The rules for using the app.
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the CarSpend mobile application ("the app"), on both Android and iOS, provided by USOTECH SRL ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and to the terms of the store you downloaded it from (the Google Play Terms of Service or the Apple Media Services / App Store Terms).
CarSpend stores your data locally on your device; we do not keep a copy. You are responsible for your data and for keeping your own backups (the app provides export/import for this). We are not liable for data lost through device failure, app deletion, or an import that replaces existing data.
The optional "Ask" feature generates responses from your data and may be inaccurate or incomplete. It is provided for convenience only and is not professional, financial, legal or mechanical advice. When you use the cloud assistant, requests are sent to a third-party AI provider as described in our Privacy Policy.
You agree not to misuse the app, including: using it for any unlawful purpose; attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile or tamper with it except where permitted by law; or interfering with its security or operation.
Figures such as fuel economy, range, tank/battery levels, cost-per-distance, resale valuation and maintenance reminders are estimates derived from the data you enter. They are not guarantees and should not be relied upon for safety, financial or mechanical decisions. The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, USOTECH SRL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app.
The app, its name, logo, design and content are owned by USOTECH SRL and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
We may update the app or these Terms from time to time; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or discontinue the app, or your access to it, where reasonably necessary.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence remain unaffected.
